Core Image on an older video card?
Like the title says, I was wondering if there was any way to force my computer to use Core Image?

Well the advanced effects require a Shader 2.0 based card. That is GeForce FX or Radeon 9600 and higher. Your older 9200s and under just do not have the hardware to do it.

Re: Core Image on an older video card?
Darn, I'm stuck with a Radeon 9000. Looks like I will be saving for a new video card.

Same here, I got a R9000. Cept mine is in my Cube.
If you have a 4x AGP mac you could get one of those OEM R9600s from the G5s. Otherwise you have to shell out more $$$ for a R9800.
