Re: The HULK Trailer
I liked the teaser they release a few months ago, but I thought ths SuperBowl one made him look really computer animated and plastic

If it ain't Lou Ferrigno, I ain't interested. And it ain't him.
Heh, I saw bits of it on a highlight reel, and it looks kinda cool I guess. I just have had my fill of comic book --> movie crap.

Re: The HULK Trailer
nice trailer, but some effects look rather poorly done...
also, all of these comic book movies (daredevil, hulk, etc) are from the spider-man thing, which kinda makes me annoyed, but thats what i get for living in America. O well...... i'll probly see it with friends.

Actually Blade and X-Men really started it. Of course you could say Superman and the Batman movies (yes the first two were the only good ones) really started it, it just took a while to catch on.
Marvel is really cashing in though. I wish DC would get their butts in gear and makes some cool movies.

I disagree. Batman and Batman Returns were really good, well Batman was really good, Returns was ok. Once the director (crap can't remember name, guy did edward scissorhands) left the movies sucked butt. But I refuse to acknowledge the poopiness of Batman because Keaton and Nicholas did hella good jobs.

Re: The HULK Trailer
his name is Tim Burton, and I agree...
I also liked some of the Superman Movies... I don't compare them to Casablanca and Cool Hand Luke mind you, but for chinsy comicbook movies, they are fun...
Also don't get too exicted about the new superman movie... Last draft of the script that got read involved a Gay Jimmy olsen, Kryton that DOESN'T blow, Lex Luther being an FBI agent, who is, also by the way, ASLO A SUPERMAN, and a climax with superman dying and his dad commiting suicide to talk with him in heaven so that he can tell him he can't die becuase he is supposed to go save Kyrton... ummm... if THAT movie gets made, I'll hurt someone... If they start over on the script and make a good movie, I am down, but otherwise...

Re: The HULK Trailer
The first Superman was pretty cool, in a cheesy 70s sort of way. Christopher Reeve looked great as S-man. Gene Hackman was great as Lex. And casting Marlon Brando as Jor-el was great.
Fun movie. Great popcorn flick. Too bad Reeve got so typecast, because he really breathed life into the character.

Thank god someone knew Tim Buton directed those movies..I was going to cry. Seriously ..it's depressing.
And, yeah..HELL YEAH, Superman was good. The first two are great fun.
But back to the VERY shiny, VERY plasic looking HULK...yikes.

Re: The HULK Trailer
Maybe Hulk wouldn't look so bad if it had a main character we RECOGNIZED FROM OTHER MOVIES!!! I mean seriously, who is this guy?

Re: The HULK Trailer
He looks EXACTLY like he always has in the comics. Huge, Green, Hulking. I don't see the "plasticness" of it at all, and the only thing that makes him look not real is the fact a that he looks EXACTLY like he always has in the comics. Huge, Green, Hulking.
No "genetic web-slingers," no villains who have scars instead of costumes, no reduced powers. I mean Lou Farigno was great and all, but while he could smash through a wall, and maybe lift a car, he couldn't whip a tank into the next county.
This is THE HULK, just as THE HULK is supposed to be, unaltered, tough, larger than life, and he even has the stretchy purple pants (where does Banner shop?).
Besides, not every CGI character can be Gollum.
And it has Jennifer Connely.
'Nuff Said.

.Slarty, if you haven't already seen, check out Brando's shiny Rolex in his scenes on Krypton. Minor flub...
Well, how else is he going to know precisely when Krypton is going to blow? I wouldn't trust that kind of stuff to a Swatch!

Re: The HULK Trailer
I am definitely looking forward to the movie. However, the trailer doesn't give you much, so the story line is still kind of a mystery. Oh well, maybe that was there goal in doing it the way they did.
