help cant play GR online
i recently received a copy of ghost recon along with my new emac so i downloaded the updates and launched it did the trainging missions went on gameranger, joined a game and 5 seconds after i joined i automativally aborted back to the gameranger lobby. any help?

You probably do not have the mods that the server is running. Check the description on the server. If it states DBL, IT, FB or anything else then you need those to join. Look for servers which state: no mods. Sadly sometimes ppl do not put any helpful description on theirs. In those cases its just hit or miss.
FYI: DBL is refering to the DamnR6 BattleLeague packs (get em at www.damnr6.com), IT is refering to the Island Thunder mission pack thats been ported by Mac users to Mac from PC, FB is refering to the Frostbite mission pack (sort of the unofficial 4th Recon pack, it requires IT to run). Anything else you see could be refering to any number of different expansion add ons for Recon. The folks around here are pretty much familiar with most of the ones that get played.
If you have any questions about some of the mods available for Recon or are unsure what some of the initials you see are talking about. Don't be afraid to ask
