IDCS pdf exporting troubles!
I'm working in OS 10.3.9
When I export an multipage IDCS doc to screen pdf, it stops during finishing.
Other files using the same fonts don't have this problem.
any suggestions?

How big is your document?
Are you using the default "Export Screen PDF" settings?
Is there supposed to be any interactivity to the resulting PDF?

Try printing to PDF rather than "Exporting" PDF files from IDCS.
I rarely if ever Export PDF files from any applications, I do this every day alot. Seems to work well.

Export as PDF from IDCS works just fine... there's no need to spend an extra 5 mins to do something that's already built-in.
It works. and it works fine.
p.s. can your print the same document you are trying to make a PDF of?

have you tried 'save as' a different filename, then try exporting? it may be a funky file. i've never had IDCS hang up on me like that, and i use it's PDF function at least a dozen times a day.

Exporting from ID embeds all fonts with Identity H encoding, the encoding used for double byte asian fonts. Printing to postscript and distilling will only use Identity H if you've used double byte fonts. Many printers are still running older rips that can't handle Identity H encoding so it's always best to print to postscript.
Anyhooz, it's worth a shot in this case.
