Classic crashes OSX
When I've inadvertently double clicked some document or app that is OS9 only and Classic begins to start up when I don't want it to, I click "STOP". OSX doesn't like this and immediately crashes. Pointer doesn't move and I can't force quit anything. Has anybody experienced this and know what is wrong? Classic did not do this previously, it's only been the last 2-3 weeks that it started happening.
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Classic crashes OSX
I don't know what is causing this, but I do know that you can set a preference to prompt you if you want to open Classic.

Re: Classic crashes OSX
Well, I've clicked the "stop" button a few times, ignored the warning and went ahead without experiencing any obvious problems. I might suggest letting Classic go ahead and boot, then quit it normally and see what happens.

Re: Classic crashes OSX
It's a bad idea to stop Classic from running unless you REALLY have to. It's basically the same thing as turning your computer off while it's booting.
