HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! YOU ALL SOOOOO STUPID!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! but funny. No offence or anything. You all have strong opinions about something as trivial as what jonra of music people like. And I certainly have no respect for anyone who believes they are defined by the material poseshons they embelesh themselves with. But who am I or any of us to judge emoboy? I'm glad he likes music. I'm glad we all like music. And who are we to call others hypocrites? Are we without any contradictions? I know I'm not. so that's my two cents. I personally don't like emo. But i like jerk-faces even less. Have a nice day!

The unwritten rules in Xan's Pub & Grill have now been broken again....it is true, it now only takes one person's five posts to hijack a thread.

n00b, if the next two words out of your mouth aren't 'See ya!' then the third word will be 'Oh my god! My crotch! You've punched me in my crotch!

no seriously. I don't have cable, and even if I did I'd probably still watch the same stuff. So, literally, I have nothing better to watch. (Except craft corner deathmatch, GO CRAFT LADY OF STEEL!) But seriously folks, what's hijaking a thread?

Who wrote love sonnets before Shakespeare? Well probably someone, but i don't care for British Literature anyways.
And New kid, using J's to replace the Ge sound is not cool. It's not correct either. For instance, Jonre is not a word.
Oh, and P.S this is how to use the edit button.
oh and P.P.S Tim Burton

Re: Emo Discussions
First of all, I'd like to say that I despise emo, people and music alike (emphasis on the music).
I am, however, only referring to the "trendy" emos. The people who, as so many people have mentioned, live in upper-middle class suburban neighbourhoods and complain about the slightest thing. If you have actually experienced some real emotional trauma (and i mean REAL emotional trauma) and go with the emo fad, or any trend or subculture for that matter, you have my sympathy (tho I would question why one would choose a fad like emo to COPE with depression). I dont generally like using the word fag as an insult because I find there to be many more intelligent ways of insulting people, but fashion emos are all a bunch of fags. Whe emo began to emerge as a trend (this ofcourse before I was even aware of the name emo) I actually thought to my self "My, the world is actually getting more artistic." It didnt take long, however, to see it was all a facade, and it was the same people that have always followed trends for popularity (or pop-un-popularity as you could call it now).
Now, as for the music, I'm a musician myself, and listening to emo, I find myself wondering how a pathetic attempt at music like that could be considered good music. If anyone here has ever read the lyrics to "I'm Not Alright" by My Chemical Romance (i think thats what its called anyway) It's just a string of random emo sounding lines strung together into a pile of BS. Emo bands basically almost always use suspended chords because they sound artistic and depressing, and thats what gives emo that distinctive sound. Yes, brand new is emo, they're just generally terrible even for an emo band, so I can see why you might get confused...... Well, I can think of anything else to talk about..... now go ahead Emoboy, rant about how im depressing you
