I'll, I probably rent it on DVD, along with Episode III.

I'm glad I don't have one.
they prolly spent as much on fuel for those as they did building them
that said I agree with nag, they are a lot less cheesy looking
I might go to the wed 23:00 showing

Christian Bale + American Psycho = Good!
Christian Bale + Reign of Fire = Bad!
Let's hope he doesn't stray towards the latter.

Wait, is this a nationwide sneak preview? Or does the film actually begin on Wednesday?

Nevermind, I viewed the website. It starts this Wednesday. Hmm, lots of films are starting earlier then Friday nowadays.

Re: Batman Begins (tomorrow at midnight)
New Batmobile was at first a big disapointment for me, but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. It is his first batmobile not really a custom built machine that comes years later when he knows exactily what he needs in a car. Also I have no idea why this movie seems to be coming out 24 hours to early my tickets say tues 12:01 am so hell iam going! also sorry been up for over 40 hours so iam sure this is typo ladden

Re: Batman Begins (tomorrow at midnight)
I got screwed! i show up and they tell me its tomorrow night! I been up way to long and drove way to far to this damn theatre to have them tell me I 24 hours early! My ticket says "12:01am Tue 6/14/05" What part did I get wrong as I type this its 12:27 am tue 6/14/05 shouldent I be 13 min into the film? The manger there made it sound like i read the ticket wrong and explained its "after midnight so its now wed the day we can show it" So then I ask why doesnt it say wed 6/15/05 she then states they print them that way. At this point i just stare blankly cause to be honest no rebuttial to such a lame exscuse comes to mind. I try to explain again and she then SHOUTS at me "look Im not going to argue with you!" Again at this time I have been awake 40 some odd hours and have worked 2 shifts with no sleep at work and frankly to tierd to fight. So all I ask for are new tickets as the guy had already torn my friend and I ticket. She says I dont need it I can use the torn stub. I just walk away at that point to tierd to care. All I know is if i get there tomorrow and they tell me these tickets where for tomorrow I may finally lose my legendry cool.

Scott knows one of the reasons it's done like that.
What may happen is that you get refused entry for having a torn ticket.

I think they count wednesday-thursday-friday-saturday-sunday as "opening weekend" for marketing purposes.

Yep, it makes their first-weekend gross look bigger. Plus, they can jump the gun on movies that are still starting on friday.

Re: Batman Begins (tomorrow at midnight)
See it immediately. Yes, it's that good. This rounds up the previous four [live action, Mask of the Phantasm did and still does kick much ass] Batman movies and whips them into submission, takes their lunch money, and then jokes about how they all can only wish to be as cool as it is. As far as I'm concerned they don't exist. There is only Batman Begins, and whatever sequels they bring out with this new direction. Bring them on, the sooner the better.

Re: Batman Begins (tomorrow at midnight)
For about the first half an hour, it seemed like the camera man was suffering from ADD, but the rest was okay, and it had a decent story. Some of the lines were kind of comic-book cheesy (less than the other movies though), but other than that, it was a pretty good movie.
I liked it better than Episode III, but I don't have as high an opinion of Ep. III as many others seem to have...

Re: Batman Begins (tomorrow at midnight)
anyone else hyped about seeing "lesser" villains in this film ?
I never thought we'd ever se Mr. Zsaz in a movie !!!
However, i'd hoped they would keep the scarecrow more loyal to its origin...

Re: Batman Begins (tomorrow at midnight)
Batman Begins? They should've called it BATMAN smurfing RULES!!! They finally got it! They got the darkness, the ninja like efficiency, the snarl, the gravely voice. Mr. Zsaz, fer chrissakes! Scarecrow was creepier w/o his mask on (props to Cillian, Ciallain, Chuck Murphy). The only thing I can think of that was wrong w/ this movie was that Katie Holmes never got nekkid. Other than that, SOOOOOO AWESOME.
btw, my friends and I were discussing potential villians/actors for sequels. If they were to attempt to top Jack Nicholson as Joker, they're gonna need somebody REALLY good. Johnny Depp? Christopher Walken (maybe a tad too old)?

correct me if i am wrong, but is this the first DC comics movie since the last batman movie?
Well, there was *snicker* Cat- *guffaw* woman w/ Halle Berry. But I think you may be right. Now there's a Supes movie and a Wonderwoman movie in the pipeline. I think they're gonna pick a relative unknown as WW.
Meanwhile, I've seen a (possibly fake?) poster of the Joker w/ "Summer 2008" printed underneath. I can't tell who the actor is, though. Looks creepy.
