Indispensible hacks/utilities
What are some hacks/utilities that you cannot live without? For the purposes of this topic, that is defined as an addon to the system or one of the programs included with the system.
Mine are:
MenuMeters
Desktop Manager
AcidSearch
SizzlingKeys
TransparentDock (also semitransparent icons for hidden apps)

Re: Indispensible hacks/utilities
What a funny.... I thought you were talking about the eMac, like you could hack it... But what a coincidence, emacs and the eMac.

Just because something is legal, doesn't mean it's right. Just because something is illegal, doesn't mean it's wrong.

Anacron!
Edit for description: Anacron automatically runs whatever tasks you give it, once every x days. It's great for general computer upkeep.
Oh, and by the way, I agree Vi sucks. Vim, on the other hand...

I have no idea what [almost] any of these are. This would've worked a lot better with descriptions attached.

Unsanity software (Xounds, Shapeshifter, ClearDock, etc.), Dock Disks and YouControl iTunes menu bar controller.
To make it leaner (diskspace wise), I do a search and delete all ReadMe, Read Me, Help, Tutorials, Samples, and extra language files.

SHAREPOINTS.
without sharepoints networking in OSX would be a complete bitch (unless all you care about is connecting to another computer's drop-box or home folder).

This, sadly, is true. I couldn't believe that I couldn't set sharepoints with OS X alone. Shame, Apple.
