Optical Illusions - What color is this?

I've just had a look at some great optical illusions which test your color perception to the limit.

It seems the saying "seeing is believing" isn't true after all.

It's hard to fly like a turkey when you're up to your ass in alligators.

I love these.  The checkerboard even fooled my husband.  He thought they changed colors when you turned the mask off.  HAHA.

No, your eyes were tricked into white-balancing the wrong part of an image through an already-assumed state of color on the image.

The second one, was no big deal.  I could see that the colors of the dots were the same.  The first one impressed me, but the third... WOW.  Yes, thanks for posting it.  smile

I don't get the big deal about the third one; for some reason, it seemed rather obvious to me.  I found the first one to be much more impressive.

The first one is bogus.  The swatch they have actually changes color.  Look at it in the top white space and then again in the bottom white space.  It's noticeably darker at the top.  down

Try using the DigitalColor Meter under the Utilities folder.  It is more accurate than your eye.
