XYZ, you do whine a lot. This thread is a perfect example of your whining ways.

You do toss out the "homophobe" label out at a hell of a lot of responses you simply disagree with. You've  called many gay-positive supporters and even a few gays on this board "homophobes" for smurf's sake just because they don't capitulate 100% to your personal "Act Up++;" viewpoint!. You have an amazing ability of turning people who even agree with some gay issue you bring up into personal enemies (note the diff, bud). You've pretty much isolated yourself of your own doing and created most of your opponents via the behavior of your personality/personalities.

I thought Alien's comments to NokX were unreasonable, but as has been noted, this has already been handled by Oats OFF the boards. THAT issue is closed and is certainly quite irrelevant to YOU in any case.

As for the "whiny bitch" comment, Alien may have stepped across the line of propriety a wee bit, but you jump across it with both feet quite regularly. If you'd care to explain why one utterance of "whiny bitch" is inherently more evil and deserving of special attention in this forum than your exceedingly common accusation of "homophobe" at practically anyone who doesn't agree 100% with YOUR personal politics (as if you were the final and unerring authority of all things gay), I'd like to see it.

You reap what you sow, pal. Your screech level cranks up to 11 much, much too often. As noted, this thread is one example of it. "Whiny" is therefore accurate, although I dunno about the use of "bitch" in the posts' original context - I've seen better examples of that. perhaps he should have, instead, used the phrase "whiny, self-important, pompous git" instead. I for one would certainly have agreed with that description of your online personality.

You're hardly a "new guy" here, so what you post in one instance isn't necessarily an isolated point - your history with other long-term members is taken into account. Yet another attempt to mod a thread you're not in a position to mod isn't just ONE isolated instance of mini-modding, it's another in a string of such actions. As is your history of calling people homophobic. Don't get all pissy because you're called on it.

Funny how your interest in gay issues has earned you this persecution by homophobes, while these same homophobes are forgetting all about, well, the other homos with interest in gay issues on these boards. Maybe they're not gay enough, or something.

It's a fact that, over the years, I've seen many posters, including mods, complain about the existence of topics concerning gay issues. It's a fact that people have given me a lot of grief for discussing gay issues and also holding them accountable in such discussions for homophobic or heterosexist views. Most of the other gay people here don't want to make waves and are reluctant to challenge posters to the degree I am willing to. Good MiniThink discussions require a willingness to take heat for challenging incorrect views.

There are others, like gradient and MysticCow, who troll with homophobic comments. They say they're gay or bi.

They are supposed to moderate, not necessarily to be moderate.

Incorrect. In order to moderate, one must be moderate in order to keep order. Bad behavior, as you've shown, is not compatible with the moderator position in a quality forum.

There's nothing relevant about your whining about moderational issues, what with you not being a mod, and all.

This whining angle is a straw man invented to defend your trolling.
