What does it matter? There is usually a reason someone gets Banned.

Yes, Habs, because whenever the mods get bored, and want to stir up a commotion, they pick someone at random to pick on. Maybe you'll be next... We can only hope.

There's something seriously wrong with you.
All I did was quote "usually" from the previous poster. And again, you choose to threaten and insult.
If all you're interested in is to throw ban threats around, fine, just stop replying to me until you grow-up.

then again, there's a "reverse ban", where they make you GUI for a day, but if you log in, a script starts deleting critical MAINFRAME files, and to succeed you have to killz them.

Re: Bans
Habs, re-read my post. There was no insult.
And I can't "threaten" anyone with a ban, since I can't single-handedly ban anyone. As you already know (and had to make an assinine joke about), a ban has to be voted on by mods. The only way to get banned without a majority vote is if you thoroughly piss off an Admin, since only the Admin can ban you.

Re: Bans
Where did this figure of '20,000' come from?
Also, were the people that used User 1401's login to access the Mod Squad caught by IP logging? If so they really were dumb enough to deserve perma-bans.

Re: Bans
They were caught using a couple of different methods, one of which was the IP logs, yes.
The other method was someone told us who was doing what, and sent us an IRC chatlog to prove it.

Re: Bans
Zet: Look at the bottom of the Forum Index. Obviously the number of active users is lower, but not enough to make six active bans even remotely statistically significant.
