Clipping out Background in Video
I was just on Macromedia's site, and love their new add for Studio 8. The people going in to motion just briefly, then their personal add show up. I have worked in Flash, but never introduced video. I am working on a project where i think that similar style would be effective. What is the best way to clip out the background of the digital video, and place it on any background you'd like? I recently got After Effects 6.5, but have been to busy with other work to mess with it too much. Could I use that to remove the background?
Thanks,
AC

Re: Clipping out Background in Video
Removing backgrounds out of video is a difficult process and requires a lot of time, unless you shot your video on a Green Screen/Solid color (Well lit) background. Then you knock out the back, make a sillouette and you are set (Of course, it is still a process, but MUCH MUCH easier).

Re: Clipping out Background in Video
You can use Rotospline masks in After Effects to do it.... hope you have a lot of time though.
