ONLINE HELP PLEEEZZEEE!
Hi, i've had my ghost recon game four 2 years now and i never have been able to get online. Just Recently i found ip addres tht worked but i can't seem to get on. i have a ghost recon pack that has desert sige on it automatically. this is the 1.4 verson. PLEEZE help i reall want to experience onlie GR!

Could be this IP server also is using Island Thunder or other packs which you don't have.

I get an error message when i try to update with the gameranger links. and i'm not sure but i think they r running Ghost Recon or Dessert Siege.

uhhh Well it gave me one message of Not being able to update because it ad a higher version, but when i messed around and found another p 1.0.1 version and it worked. but when i try versions 2 and 3 it say i don't have the proper acces privleges.

Ok you need to reinstall Recon. This is a common problem. What you do is reinstall it, then duplicate the Recon app itself (not the entire game). Just incase you have another problem. Then you run the updates one by one until its up to date.

Click on the app then go up to file and click on duplicate. Otherwise just click on the app then do command D.

Use either one. Then you update the app one by one until it is up to 1.03. Do not skip any of the updates. For some reason sometimes this causes the problem. I just use the original then keep the duplicate around just incase anything goes wrong.

Are you the main user of your machine? Or are you logged in as a guest/etc?

Well maybe hes got you set to a guest mode or something where you don't have the ability to change anything. I'd ask him to just log on via his account then run the updates with his. Hopefully that will get things going.
