well, he specificly said demo,  i gues UTX would work, but i dont think its worth it with the state of UTX shrug

Well...there is no OS X demo. Either dl the OS 9 demo and play in classic, or get the full game and play with the smurfy UTX beta 3.

Or get a PC version and turn it into an OS X version tongue
(Also works with Jedi Academy, Q3A/Q2 (Mac, Linux or Windows to any version))

You know... I'm pretty sure Epic declared Ut99 public source... At least I was told that,  quite emphatically. By a few people.

The emphatic words of a few people are not authoritative, let alone basically irrelevant... I recall no UT IP being made Open Sauce. Perhaps they're thinking of Quake or other iD properties.
