He's able to be so thin by not having to lug around the extra weight of civility and humility.

Screw it. Some people are thinner than others. Some are told by the bemused pharmacists running BMI screening that they need to "gain some weight." Some eschew the car for the running shoe.

I thought that was a poster for the new Corpse Bride movie. I actually want to see that.

Re: Just when you thought they couldn't get any skinnier...

I used to be very skinny, and I couldn't believe some of the mean things people would say to me.  Some would accuse me of having all sorts of eating disorders, when in fact I didn't.  I just couldn't believe people had the gall to think it was any of their business.  It's one thing to talk on a forum like this, but to say things to a person's face?  Uffda.

Could be jealousy ; most people would prefer to be thin rather than fat.

I'm sure with some it was.  Although I didn't think I was a healthy weight (and made it a point to gain some) so anyone who was jealous of how skinny I was had problems of their own.

I don't think I can tell from that photo whether or not she is too skinny, especially with that dress. To me it just looks like she has small boobs.

Re: Just when you thought they couldn't get any skinnier...

I was skinny when I was younger - 5' 8", 115 lbs. - but I was fit from excerising horses 7 days a week. I see these scrawny scarecrows these days with their pencil thin arms and legs, pallid complexions (not pale, but pallid - sickly), dull hair, and I just don't think they look healthy. One thing about models is that, except for the skinniest of them, they at least look like they work out to keep that 'look', not just depend on purging or starving.

Jesus Christ.

Isn't the Malnourished-Amazon sheik ever going to go out of style? I mean, regardless of whether these women came to this figure naturally or through extreme *means*, it still resembles a very small portion of the female population. And it's not like the clothing looks any good on them because they don't fill it out....but then again, the clothing is hideous as it is so it really doesn't matter............

....fashion shows confuse me. cry

Models selected by gay men based on how much they look like young boys.

No confusion for me at all. Lack of interest, maybe...
