I don't buy into these crack-pot leftist conspiracy theories one bit. If you consider that ill-mannered, then that's not my problem.

So you consider a joke a full blown conspiracy?  Are people not allowed to make fun of the government's fuzzy logic?  If not, is it allowed when Liberals are in power?

We Americans live in a nation where the medical-care system is second to none in the world, unless you count maybe 25 or 30 little scuzzball countries like Scotland that we could vaporize in seconds if we felt like it.

Re: A very clever joke

A general rule of thumb is that jokes tend to be funny when there's a grain of truth.  that tin-foil-hat-derived "joke" was just a crack-pot conspiracy theory rant.

You don't have very nice manners.

I stand by that comment as there's more truth in that than in any of that "joke."

I don't buy into these crack-pot leftist conspiracy theories one bit.  If you consider that ill-mannered, then that's not my problem.

I'm beginning to think you are retarded.  It was a joke, not a conspiracy theory. I can't believe I had to write that for you.  I don't actually think that Bush made an elementary school boy disappear.

If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on.

It's basis is the conspiracy theory rampant here that we're headed for an American Dictatorship where dissent will be made illegal.  It's pretty sad when the "joke" teller has to have their own "joke" explained to them. roll lol

So then why is it not OK to joke about it?
You don't really explain the joke, I beleive everyone in this forum understand what it means, just you are taking it as a personal attack against the government.

[hillbilly logic] suggesting Bush would ever cut a conversation short or make a kid disappear for questioning his president is nothing more than spreading liberal conspiracy theories, so you'd just better keep your damn mouth shut.[/hillbilly logic]

Seems simple enough to me.

Re: A very clever joke

So that's how you're supposed to make a foil hat. I always thought you were supposed to use the old "pirate hat" method we learned as kids. You know, the same way you make a paper boat. Well, if I ever need to protect myself from those rays, I'll know how. See, you really can learn useful thing around here.
