I drink a few beers about once a month. No time to drink more, and I find as I get older the hangovers get worse. I like Wild Turkey, but now that I have a real job, I don't have a week to recover. So, I did as this guy suggests. I switched to beer.

I ususally get pretty messed up every party we have, but not so messed up that I can't make sure that our guests don't trash the place or pee on my stairs (which has happened).

I used to get drunk 1-2x a weekend (maybe more after I got to germany), until last december I got in trouble (i did feel really bad about the incident and I really shouldnt have drank that much, but the bright side was that the dude who drove me to the MP station was a real smurf and the jager coming out of my pores was so strong that his car smelled like alcohol for a week big_smile ). Since then I have still drank occasionally, but not heavily and not on a regular basis. A glass of wine with dinner sometimes for the most part. Maybe a schmirnoff ice or a mikes when hanging out with peps. shrug

I didn't drink coffee, alcohol, or smoke when I was 18. By 21 I realized the error of my ways.

Hey, did you go to the Essen Haus?

I went there when I was visiting some friends in Madison and we drank a 2 liter boot. It was awesome, but I got a terrible cold after that. Maybe it wasn't related but maybe it was.

Beer was good though..

Yes that's where we were. A group of 8(?) did something like 5 boots plus random pints.

Ice it and chug. You can down a 10-cup pot in a little under a minute that way, and be jittering, peeing, and studying a little for hours.

I guess that isn't tooooo much, but it's cutting it close...

We only had 1 between about 8 of us. I wanted to drink more, but it was a weeknight so nobody wanted to get drunk. Except for me, because I was on vacation.
