rock music fans?
i loveeeeee jet and i just heard of this band called the Casanovas from my friend who works at Universal who sounds JUST like them. okay, maybe a mix of jet AND ac/dc. awesome huh? I just broke up with my boyfriend, so I've been listening to a lot to their one song "Break your Heart." www.myspace.com/thecasanovas . you should check it out. I love their style and I have a feeling they'll become big. Rock is going to make a comeback!

No. they suck. Rock is dead.

Rock is thriving. BUT Rock is not where it is at Reggae is where I dwell, folk jazz and Blues are also dynamite.

How can they be a mix or Jet and AC/DC when Jet is just a ripoff of AC/DC?

Re: rock music fans?
I can't say I'm into the whole retro hard rock fad. It's not that they're a bad band, I'm just a little burnt out on three chord rock'n roll. I rocked out to that stuff all throughout highschool, but it all sounds the same to me now. I need weird indie rock now.
"Hi, Tracy." I declared warmly. "It's me. Tek Jansen."

What are you talking about. Jet isn't the new AC/DC, it's a new Beatles.

I'm going to give you the thumbs up, because if I respond directly to that bad crack sniffer, I'll say enough to get my assed banned. So here we go:
Spirit was crushed; now is fading, But I want to help make things right.
Because I can see and I can feel, and you can see and you can feel
So why don't we both either stand up and fight
Or at least together we'll call it a night.

Re: rock music fans?
I'm a huge fan of good ol' rock and roll. I did buy Jet's CD when it first came out, and listened to it a bunch. However, I don't really ever play it anymore, cause they borrow so much from the stones, AC/DC, Iggy Pop, etc. If I want to hear that type of music, I turn to the originals. (Not that anybody is truly original).
Alice Cooper and Twisted Sister are coming to scotland in november. I'm not worthy!
I'm a sucker for 80s hair metal.

Rock is not dead. It is merely sleeping it off.

No, It's dead. In fact, we cremated rock when N'Sync first tried to make music.

If its sleeping it off, its been in a coma. 30 years is awfully long to be in one.

what about incubus though?
Incubus is the r0x0rz!!! I *heart* Incubus, they are probably the best band out there right now. Though I have to recommend Silvertide and Kasabian to you all, they rock out hard (well Silvertide rocks harder than Kasabian). Plus, Foo Fighters' In Your Honor album is excellent, I highly recommend it.
Rock will die when Keith Richards does, when will that happen? Who knows? I give it another 50 years.
