Whoa! I haven't seen this room for a while!
How is everyone?
I've not been around, I know. I've really missed ya'll, but I've not really missed having a lifestyle designed around the internet. I went out and got a new life, so to speak. Sadly, I've not had much for time and this board fell to the way-side. I'm sorry.
All my dear friends, we can catch up later. I'm off to bed, now. For some strange reason, I keep seeing the Monty Python Spanish Inquisition sketch over and over in my head. I'm about to go more looney than I have ever been. (Shush, Pave...btw was in Kiawah two weeks ago cursing the fact I didn't have your address)
Catch ya'll later! PS- LG, darlin'...leave the southern speak to those that do it best

Re: time for the annual poke my nose in
Too much! LOL! I joined a stay at home mommies group and I work weekends for mad money as a waitress. Me and the Mommies meet up about once or twice a week to let the kids play and to socialize amongst each other so we stay sane. It's a lot of fun and the families we've met are fantastic! I couldn't ask for a more supportive "real life" group of friends.
I started going to a gym 3 times a week and I'm trying to slim down. Bad timing, though, it's Girl Scout Cookie time. Oh well. I've always been a sucker for Samoas. Oh! And those Tag-A-Longs....and the Do-Si-Dos. And the Trefoils. And the Thin Mints. I need to save up and just buy the "Little Brownie Bakery." I wonder if they trade stock on the open market?
I don't really play anything but my new Quake 4 lately. If I am playing, it's single player. I did play Empire Earth 2 the other day with the husband of one of my mommy friends. He kicked my tooshie. It was still fun.
How's everything in Chi-town? I thought of you a couple of weeks ago. I went to DC for the week and used the Metro to go everywhere and I thought of what you said about not needing a car if you live in the city. It was a rather refreshing change than down here where you need a car to go everywhere.
What else (besides PL's newest [MA] cadet) is going on? Any major drama? I heard that Mr. Parnell (a.k.a RQ) was banned. He's always been a bit on the tempermental side. I don't think that's an age thing, either. I think he'll always be one of those testy personality types.
