...why do I get the feeling that an iSight revision might be announced today (a USB2 version)?

Aaah.  Okay, some kind of video thingie and Powerbooks.  Apple has been selling a zillion models of PB in the refurb lately.  Probably taking profit before they depreciate with the new models.

Three and a half more hours and the truth shall out.

As long as they change the port on the TI so that headphones can be plugged in, I'd say... no, its still st00pid.  Apple releases products that are practical.  They wouldn't release something like that.

Re: Just One More Thing...

Less than 160 min. to go: here's the deal.

A tablet/gaming device w/iPod slot.
Could be Intel based OR those funky G5's going into everything else (Cell)
That's my final answer.

Well, I was joking - but considering the length some people go through to put Linux on an iPod - I would have to say yes, some people are that nerdy.

I lived there for 2 years before the intense boredom of stripmalls and chain restaurants drove me northwards.  The 9pm curfew is very silly.

Back on topic!!!!

I KNOW WHAT THE ANNOUNCEMENT IS!!!  I KNOW!

It's video, but it's not what you're thinking!

I know exactly what the new features are going to be in Leopard.

But because of NDA, I can't tell you. But I will tell you after they are publicly announced.  Then I can confirm that I knew in advance.

When we get a 1.8" drive that can spin at least 7200 RPM and has a 8-16 MB cache, we'll talk.
