Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble, peach, but when you use your pic as an avatar on a  public board, as well as post a picture of yourself in a bikini, you should expect attention, whether you want it or not.

While I have not seen this fabled... bikini pic... ahem... this is precisely why I wouldn't ever address Peach online, and then I got called stuck-up. So now I address Peach online aaand.... this.

{sigh} You can't win.

OTOH, I don't think this applies to the online forum. I'm going to assume it does not, and assume it's meatworld trouble because taking internet stuff personal is stupid.

Let's look at it this way, shall we? My husband says I'm pretty.  He also says I'm the smartest person he knows.   If the latter weren't true, he'd have never given me a second look. You're lucky to have both, because my husband is a really great guy. A total nerd, too.

I could be worse. You could simply not have any guys (or gals if you swing that way) interested in you at all.

Is that yer rant?  Man, it must suck to have people chasing ya, Peach.  Know what makes me mental? People who start topics, but never come back to see whats going on in them!

I'm serious - if I had it to do over again (and had started on Prozac about five years earlier) I would definitely have minored in drama.

Re: I am so smurfing tired of this smurf

I did NOT hit on MacNuke.

On a related note, sort of, I think I'd like the handle "depeachfuzz" better. I'd also like it if the NFL would outlaw the "prevent" defense.

Plus I think you could get really rich if you opened a bar that specialized in fruit smoothie cocktails. People would destroy their livers thinking that all that fruit must be healthy.

While we're on the subject, in the James Taylor song "Copperline" what do the lyrics "Hercules and a hog-nosed snake" mean?

Thank you

Unless your son/daughter is a kidney/liver specialist, you can't get rich opening such bar.

Applebees is doing okay, as are some of the nightclubs around here.

I'm going to say this once and only once. "Chocolate Fudge Martinis."

Blech.

I'm told they taste good. I'm goiong to stick with beer I can't see through, and straight vodka when I need to get wasted fast.

Yeah Peach, I know what you mean.  The instant I mention my PowerBook in a bar, all the ladies start to bug me and stuff.  It's rough, but we have to be strong and not let them get to us.

Heh - when I was making big bucks in the silicon valley, it was impossible for me to go to the bank without the teller hitting on me after she saw my account balance. Saw a lot of cleavage, smiles winks, etc.

Now that my account is typically quite a bit smaller, I'm lucky if they look me in the eyes for more than 2 seconds.
