Since one of the solutions when testing ASP pages in Dreamweaver is to upload to a remote server, does anyone now a good free ASP host, one that allows e-mail (smtp) and has global.asa enabled. I want to use it for testing purposes and then move on to another host once I've completed my project. Banner Ads do not bother me (beggars can't be choosers).

Unfortuntaley, ASP is the only solution I have for a project right now, eventhough I rather deal with PHP.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks! big_smile

I actually went through many searches with Google and found many results, but none fully met my requirements. I was just hoping that someone from the forum probably knew of something I couldn't find on my own. Kind of a last resort "kinda thang" since my own search was not resulting in how I liked. I already know of the ASP host that I will use and they do offer free 30 days before the actual paid service begins, so that's one option. The current set up I have is the PWS from VirtualPC 6.0 Win 98SE. It works fine for the most part, but would like to see it uploaded up on the 'net with the e-mail portion working. If I had VPC Win 2000, I could test it in a IIS environment, including e-mail components.

Oh well, its not a desperate situation..yet wink
