...so when did JK:JA become such a pain in the *** to play?

I've tried going online to play on some servers, and it seems that everyone has all sorts of mods and whatnot that require downloading upon connecting. When I finally decide to get the latest JA+ mod and install it, all of a sudden I can't exit to the menu without the game taking a dump on me.

Aren't there just any plain ol' vanilla JA servers out there anymore? sad

Re: ...so when did JK:JA become such a pain in the *** to play?

The Jedi Academy 1.0.1d patch does seem to have some problems with exiting to the menu/leaving servers. In order to play on JA+ servers, you don't actually need the mod, and so you don't actually need the 1.0.1d patch (you could use 1.0.1c).

Turning auto-download off might help as well.

My clan is always running a number of servers that require nothing.

Try the disruption... fun fun fun!!
