Banned Ronald Reagan/XYZ
Ronald Reagan/XYZ
Removed for posting images of male genitalia being altered.
I'm sorry for the lack of evidence on this one but the images just aren't appropriate for MAF. He'll be back in 2 weeks.

Wow.
I... I just don't know about this one.
I'd be more comfortable if it was the fact that he was violating DBaJ after he was warned about the picture, and not for the picture itself.

There is precedence for the banning of individuals who post pictures of various body parts for dramatic effect.

TC1, NokX?
What makes me uncomfortable about the wording is because another fellow, who didn't really mean it, did it shortly thereafter XYZ. Oats had to edit it, as well.

Whatever the reason, I think it's a well deserved break for him since it seems he's constantly angered by the way this place is run.

Re: Banned Ronald Reagan/XYZ
So why isn't one nick permabanned because of this weird "No Alternicks" rule?
And why wasn't the ban in effect when he called nearly everyone on this board a homophobe and frequently violated DBaJ?
And why do I feel like we'll get a new barrage of "MAF mods abusive behavior" posts from XYZ in two weeks?
Why do I feel like XYZ received special priveleges while being a pompous ass and only got banned when he posted a pic of a wee wee?

Re: Banned Ronald Reagan/XYZ
There's no "no alternicks" rule. This is a different issue.
Determining when behaviour warrants a ban is based on our discretion, and we didn't feel it was warranted till now.
Probably.
Being a pompous ass is permissible.

Be comforted. It was a contributing factor.

Re: Banned Ronald Reagan/XYZ
I understand that banning is at the discretion of the mods here. That part I am not trying to discuss, because it really isn't a discussable point. You guys meet and ban and there has to be a reason to ban.
I'm stating there were hundreds of other possibilities to ban X-Reagan and I'm sure some enterprising soul can find every single topic where XYZ decided that rational discussion isn't the way to go and instead went to being an absolute jerk. Hell, Oatie can probably come up with at least three times it happened to him. And lest we forget the frequent times he decided the best way to handle a problem with a moderator was to go completely public with his bitchiness (Alien's abusive Behavior Deleting posts isn't the way to win arguments disappearing posts and those are just FORUMx3)
There were several times that a ban on XYZ would have been more than appropriate. While he did finally get slapped down, it came way too late and only because he posted a pic of a wee wee. It wasn't because of flagrant disregard of DBaJ.

Right. The other guy didn't do it intentionally and apologized immediately. XYZ did it and flaunted it.
One gets "well, be more careful when posting stuff from medical sites," the other... you know.

Right. The picture was the straw that broke the camel's back... and then he kept piling smurf on the poor, broken camel anyway.

Now look at his new signature: Banned for posting pornographic babies and upsetting the führer.

It was a thread in MiniThink that XYZ felt belonged in Unplugged, so he did his best to derail it with sour grapes. I culled the entire derailing lot right outta there... but among the things he posted was:
No, those links didn't originally point to disney.com. They were explicit oral sex pics.
I can't be more descriptive than that since I didn't see them them, as Alien got there first.
So while the baby alteration picture gets the most talk, there's quite a bit that we discussed. If it wasn't the baby pictures, it was the oral sex pictures. If it wasn't the oral sex, it was DbaJ. There's plenty of material to go around.

Re: Banned Ronald Reagan/XYZ
He is rarely abusive, no matter how rude some people may find him. That's why he has not been banned in past.
And to reiterate, he was also banned for posting a link to a porn site. Not just the circumcision photo.

Someone please save this topic for the next round of "Alien's abusive behavior"

I think when he comers back in two weeks you should ban him for intentionally being jerk with his signature for the last two weeks.

Hahha... Thats so funny. He "upset the fuher" through posting stuff that was against a jewish practice.

Calling someone a "furher" is ever so 20th century.
"Ayatollah" is alot more current.
