Espresso! I gggot an espppressso Mmaakkkerrr!!!
Aaand I'm on my fffiiith ccupp!
WAAAHHOOOO!!!!
I'm only on my second cup - thank goodness I had to install a window in my house before I could unpack it or I would be on my fifth. I may have a third, I'm not quite vibrating yet.
Anyway, it's this one, a Hamilton Beach "Cappuccino Plus," $70 on Amazon.
It's pump driven, it works with pods or ground espresso, so simple I could train a chimp to make the coffee for me.
Hmmm... no, there aren't any coffee chimps on ebay right now
It occurs to me that it's probably a very good sign that I've had too much coffee that buying a chimpanzee for the express purpose of training it to make espresso for me sounds like a reasonable thing to do.
... I'm getting a little off the subject.
This thing is GREAT. It makes making really good cappuccino almost too easy. I'm using Medalia D'oro espresso, which I've always liked but which comes out of this machine tasting AWESOME. I'm tempted to set up a coffee shrine next to my Mac, this thing is so good.
Uh oh. I'm out. Time for a refill.
(Maybe I should break out the can of decaf Medalia D'oro I accidently bought the last time I bought coffee...)

Now what you need are some good beans. I happen to know where you can get some, roasted by a member of these forums, if you PM me.
Grandfatherly advice: You can drink 'em pretty, but you can't drink 'em smart.

What were to happen if you were to drink 5 extra strong red bulls?

I'd get the smurfs.
I knew a guy in the military who drank a bottle of coffee concentrate. You know that stuff that is supposed to be able to make like 40 cups of coffee, just add hot water?
The corpsman walked in when he had a moutful to go. When he realized what was going on he ordered the guy to stop, even as he was putting it in his mouth. "I'm serious, this is an order, spit that out!"
He did. I stayed with him after work to keep an eye on him - took him out for some alcohol to try to depress his system a little. His eyes eventually uncrossed and he stopped vibrating.

I've made several cups now (a few for my wife too). I highly recommend this thing.

I think I'm done for the night.

Someday I'm gonna load myself with caffeine to see what happens.....
And as for that death meter, that's just plain genius.

You could drink 139.91 shots of Espresso before croaking
I'm sure that it comes as absolutely no surprise to anyone who has been reading this thread... I can't sleep. My wife is about to murder me for tossing and turning.

0.82 cups of Starbucks Grande Coffee + Infant = Death
Just curious if anyone could die from one cup.

FYI, those calculators usually use the published LD50, so the half of the population with a lower than average tolerance would die sooner.
And I think Justine is right. By Starbucks Tall Coffee #20 or so, I'm fairly certain my bladder would be forming a quantum singularity or something, never mind all 85 of 'em. Or maybe I'd just go into a coma and be unable to drink any more.

Enjoy it (the buzz) while you can Oatmeal. Pretty soon a triple will be the minimum requirement in the morning, and a double after dessert at 9pm will be no problem.
That's what's it's like for me anyway.

I rarely drink anything caffeinated, so that many espressos would probably get me so buzzed I'd be good until the next morning.
