Dreamweaver Site definition for PHP & MySql
I'm a new user to Dreamweaver, and I'm trying to do site definition for a site with PHP & MySql, from my machine. I've been seeking for information all over the web and in help, but no luck!
I have OS 10.2.3 Server install on my machine, and I have MySql & PHP running. The dificulty that I'm encountering is (HTTP Error:404) this is when I test my Server. I'm wondering the exact location the sites files have to be placed. I've tried URL //10.0.0.1/Users/users_name/Sites/Site's_name but it doesn't work.
If someone knows of a good tutorial or any piece of information that can help please let me know. I'm trying to learn how to develop in MX but I'm stuck.

Re: Dreamweaver Site definition for PHP & MySql
http://localhost/ will display files in /Library/Webserver/Documents by default
http://localhost/~userid will display files in /Users/<username>/Sites

Re: Dreamweaver Site definition for PHP & MySql
Localhost/127.0.0.1 does not work, I've tried it. The only way i can view the computer sites is by using the assign IP adress. I don't know if the problem has to do with the DNS Server included in OS X Server, but I don't even have it activated

Re: Dreamweaver Site definition for PHP & MySql
Actually, I'm interested. I tried getting Dreamweaver MX for Windows to work tonight. It connects to my Mac just fine using SSH, but I can't get it to use MySQL.
I'd really like to read how you did it.
And sorry about my post above. Now that I've tried to set it up myself, I feel pretty stupid.
