And people didn't line up that long for a PS2 or an N64 huh there PCguy?

You know the games department has little to do with the rest of MS and you CLEARLY know that posting this kind of inflammatory post here in CB rather than the GAMES FORUM is a better idea because you just might your smurf torn out and fed to you there. Or it is also an option that no one would care, because your the lunatic trying to piss off a bunch of happy mac users and they just wouldnt give a damn.

Since I'm an adult, I'll go for all 3 systems. HA!

Heh, I was thinking of a Kill Bill video game and killing Cotton Mouth with a Revolution-controller-controlled katana.

I had a good look at one on the weekend and I have to say what I saw was pretty dissapointing after all the hype, it looks the same as my year old PC.  I have my eye on the PS3 with it's DVI capabilities, but what I can't wait for is the Revolution.

Different is good, maybe Nintendo has begun to "Think Different" themselves.  I'm perfectly happy with my PS1 and my Cube for now, in a few years once there's a decent game library to choose from and prices come down I'll pick up a 360 or a PS3.

Does anybody know how the X360 fares against a PC?  Somebody told me it's GPU is better than two 6800 Ultras in SLI.  Is this true?  I remember spending $500 on a 6800GT when it first came out, (I think it's below $300 now) so if that's the case the X360 will kick the PC's ass in terms of bang-for-the-buck value.  So let's say it's as good as (or close to) a 7800GT.  The cheapest one I found at newegg was $300.  Okay, now we have to build the rest of the system.  Another thing to consider is that few PC games actually take advantage of anything higher than a 6800 vanilla.  With most games, the extra money buys you more pixels, AA, AF, etc...  While those things are important to hard-core gamers, I'd rather have higher texture resolutions and things like that.  It's like when I first tried playing Doom 3 on my GFTi4200.  I was much more satisfied with D3 on Low Quality @ 640x480 than I was with any prior game - period (graphically speaking).  Since the X360 is a closed system, developers won't mind pushing it as hard as they can right out of the gate, which could be a big plus in the short term.

I haven't even finished Forza yet!

The nintendo revolution kills people.  I hope they release some cool games for the Nintendo Revolution, especially first person shooters.
