UT bug
being done with KOTOR for like the 8th time, I am now bored again. I thought I'd go back to UT2K4 for a while. Im running x4.3 on my comp. I downloaded the special installer and it installed fine but now the game won't launch. I get the launch screen but then the program quits after the game is done loading. You never even see the little animations stuck in by the developers. help?

Did you check over in the UT2k4 divison forum? They might have something over there (don't repost, just search. I'll move this thread to that forum.)

Have ya done the standard troubleshooting stuff? Repair perms and stuff.
Since it's installed have you tried to patch it to the current version? Did it patch ok, maybe run the patch again.
Are you using new user.ini and UT2004.ini files or did you copy them from somewhere? Try deleting those two files in the UT2004 System folder.

this bug seemed to have fixed itself in the release of 3399.
Prime, while PCs can easily outperform Macs in gaming, i imagine that even more bugs will occur. I'm afraid I will have to decline from your offer.
