You can buy it either the second day or once you buy the fishing pole. I'm still waiting for an axe to show up at nooks...wanting to rearrange the trees.
Anyone want to visit towns? I'm looking to grab fruit. I have apples...anyone need apples?
fuuuuuun smurf!
Should I post my WFC code here, or in PM's?
EDIT**
I see, they're going to the top of the post.

Looks like it asks for a town name. Mine is: oakhaus
Then I'll "see" you later
I have oranges. Well, had oranges. And I got a net and then sold it back. Now I can't re-buy it. It isn't even in my catalog. I have an axe. But still no shovel. Oh well, that guy who dreams of fossils isn't getting any anytime soon.
However, I did find a rock that if I smack it with my axe coughs up 200 bells. Score!

Re: [MA] Animal Crossing DS
And...(as any of you who have played the GC version will know) K.K. Slider usually performs on saturday nights between 10pm and 12am. If we all met in one town, then made our way from town to town, we could load up 2+ songs in one night. (After KK performs a song, he gives you a cassette of the recording to take home and play in your stereo).
Saturday night, starting 10pm pacific. Maybe anyone interested can PM either s.spiff or myself and we can figure out who's town first?

Man, if I weren't going to a concert tonight, I think I'd rush out, trade my GBA in, and buy a DS with Animal Crossing. GAH! Must. Not. Give. In.

GAH!!! Don't say that!
It's all right though. For one, I'm still trying to talk myself out of it. For another, I usually like to support my local video game store anyway.
I used to play a lot of Animal Crossing on the GC when I lived with a roommate who owned it. I used to joke that I was going to get my favorite character to fall in love with me. Then, in the wee hours of the morning, it finally happened. The nerd I am, I took photos to prove that I wasn't just making it up. The next day, it was as though the entire thing never occurred.
I'm sure others have achieved the same thing, I just think it's funny.

Yay! I went to Gamestop today and picked up a silver DS. They have a deal going on this week where if you buy a DS and one game at $30 or more, you get a $30 gift card (through the mail) if you buy a second game. So I picked up Animal Crossing and MarioKart. So far, I've just been playing Animal Crossing. My friend code is:
ShirKahr 1804-4962-6042
I don't know if it matters, but my name in the game is Mandie. We have cherries!

I'm watching the sunday night game on ESPN...I'll enter your info and open my gates so you can enter sometime in the next couple hours.
What's your town name?
Bring cherries! I have oranges and apples. (well, just apples for now...the oranges haven't grown yet)
Anyone else who wants to visit...feel free.

I was gonna bring oranges but the gates were closed.
So instead, I played with my balls until they were big... actually they were HUGE!
Start kicking those snowballs around. I kept thinking could make a snowman but everything I tried ... well it didn't work.

My wife finally built one today that was happy. If you don't make it proportionate, it gets depressed...and if it's happy, I think you receive a gift of some sort...

How do you stack the snowballs?

IIRC, you just push one into the other, and it'll bounce up to the top...
Yep, just got confirmation from the wife...push the smaller one into the larger one. Roll it in snow to make it larger, roll it on grass to make it smaller.

You know if you keep hitting it fast enough, you'll get a lot more than 200 bells.
