No kidding.  That would be like having more than one Firewire port!

Seriously though, I don't recall ever hearing about a second daughter of his.

Me either.

Maybe he keeps her out of the public eye to stop people from talking smack about her.
Like in this tread smile

Lisa is much older than 8 years old.
I don't see why he couldn't have a daughter named Eve that is that age.

Eight years old?  Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread, and I didn't see that part.

Steve has a daughter named Lisa.  A few months later, Apple introduces a computer named Lisa.

Coincidence?  I think not.

Maybe they named the computer first.

Lisa Jobs was born on June 17, 1978. The Apple LISA (which was an acronym for Local Integrated Software Architecture) project was proposed in October of 1978. So that's four months in between.

Doesn't mean they brainstormed acronyms until it matched "Lisa". Maybe they found the acronym and it stuck with Steve.

Or...

Perhaps Steve's daughter is also controlled by a Local Integrated Software Architecture.

Steve is exactly the kind of guy that I would expect to secretly have an android daughter.  sneaky

You still need to prove the name LISA was found the exact time the project was proposed (in Oct, 1978).

Re: Steve Jobs' daughter

I think one of his kids is pretty young. I used to work with a developer who had a young daughter that was given some clothes one of Steve's kid's grew out of.

Apparently my friend's daughter was the best dressed kid in school wearing the Jobs' hand-me-downs lol

This topic is a little too close to being zombie. I had to split one of your posts from a 3 month old zombie. Please avoid resurrecting topics that are a couple months or more old. It's generally frowned upon and bad netiquette.
