window.open page dimensions with Safari
Does anybody else notice a problem with it?
The page I'm doing does not open the new window to the correct size and I'm not sure why.
I could easily put in a browser conditional statemant that resizes safari users windows once the page loads, but since it's the main window I'd hate to run that each time a new page is loaded - it's a small site so all of the pages link to each other and from the main page.
I don't have the same problem with my personal site, and I think it's because I used a different script (a built in "window slide" in GoLive) that centers the window. I've noticed that it's code is significantly different than from the standard window sizing code so that might be why (it almost looks to repeat itself, but it's beyond my hand coding abilities) and also because I use frames on the main window that reinforces the window size.
Thanks
Shawn

Safari has a lot of JavaScript problems. Whatever's wrong is probably not your fault.

Whew!
Thanks guys.
Speaking of bugs - I get it to open the window, it's the wrong size, but also the entire window is white - but all the code shows up when I request the page source. Every other browser is fine, this is just Safari.
Thpt!
Ah, beta software is so much fun.
