Coca-Cola Bl?k

Marc Mathieu, vice president, Global Core Brands, The Coca-Cola Company wrote:

Coca-Cola Bl?k is not just a flavor extension. It is a blend of unique Coke refreshment with the true essence of coffee and has a rich smooth texture and has a coffee-like froth when poured. We believe we have created a new category of soft drink — an adult product in a carbonated beverage — and a whole new drinking experience. This brand is ideal for any part of the day when people are looking for renewed energy or simply to take a break.

Pixplth?thx.

Apparently, it's going to be released in France first. It could absolutely taste like crap but I don't think that is necessarily that case. Thoughts? CC's suffering recently?

Edit: Apparently Pepsi did it a while ago:
1994-1996 against Pennsylvanians
2005-? against Malaysians

I'd try it, but since I don't really like the taste of coffee, I doubt I'd like this.

I don't like to drink coffee either, but I do like coffe candy and cake and ice cream. So, if it's coffee with LOTS of sugar, I would try it.

It's Coke. Of course it will have lots of sugar!

High fructose corn syrup that. hmm

That's not what I meant. CC will be able to breed real ones.

What's wrong with the preexisting vampires?  Hoity-toity Coca Cola too good for everyday vampires?  Transylvanian vampires not good enough for the might, beautiful, holier-than-thou Coca Cola corporation?

Well fine.  Then they can go an choke on their specially bred vampires.  Bet they won't even have accents, they'll just sound like irritating emo teens.

Sounds nasty. I can't stand coffee, I use to love Coca Cola until I stopped drinking it about 6 years ago.

Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

Heh, about a month ago I decided to put coffee and coke together.
For their sake, I hope Coca-Cola has more success with it than I did (I didn't finish the glass)

It might not be as good as it sounds but I can't wait to try! Vanilla coke is a yuck but if you blend vanila milk shake with coke yourself, it's awesome. Never tried it with coffee though.

I like coffee. Don't like soda. Actually, I've had this drink. It's ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

I'll be trying it. I love flavoured Cokes. Nothing cures a hangover like a bottle of ice-cold vanilla Coke, cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper.

Oddly, there is one thing I've found that's excellent for curing hangovers.  A Breyer's Chocolate Ice Cream & Coke float.

It doesn't work properly with any other kind of ice cream, doesn't work properly with other types of cola.  It's got to be Breyer's Chocolate & Coca Cola.

Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

I'll hold off until I can taste it... but I will say one thing... that brand is HORRIBLE.

It reads more like a barf sound then a trendy way to write "black."  People give that soda all sorts of funny names.

No, this sounds good.  Next they should do Coke: Operation Morgan.  Yeah, Captain in a can.  Delicious.
