Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

I'll try it. cherry coke, vanilla coke, and coke with lime (I am forgetting some?) have all been good.

No, this sounds good.  Next they should do Coke: Operation Morgan.  Yeah, Captain in a can.  Delicious.

Or, maybe it should just be Coca-Cola Black ( sans funny spelling and pronounciation ):

Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

I don't like Coke but I do sweetened coffee so I may like this.  Also, I like real vanilla Coke (not the canned crap) and chocolate Coke.  So, Coke goes good with other things, just not by itself.

But, I could always just go down to Soda Fountain Square and have a  mocha soda with cappuccino ice cream.  Or down to Fitz's and have a great root beer with tons of cappuccino ice cream.  drool

Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

My dad works for CCE, so I'm sure I'll get around to trying this, but somehow I see this going the way of the rest of their failed products, with only a collection of their campaign's tee-shirts in my drawers to show for it. (I have a tee for everything coke made, from each minute maid drink to Fanta to peach Fresca, Surge, etc. etc. etc.)

Hey, if he works for CCE, could you light a fire under him to get Fanta Shokata to be produced in the US?  That's good stuff, but I've only seen it in Romania.

Just got me a chilled can of Pepsi Max cino. I shall not be purchasing another. Tastes more like gum-balls than coffee IMO.

So have Pepsico beaten Coca-Cola to the market with this mildly unpleasant style of beverage?

Nah.  Brio was there long before Coke or Pepsi.  wink

Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

Brio is a brand of cola that is (apparently) sold only in Canada.  It is made from the Chinotto fruit, which gives it a flavour similar to cola, but with a pretty bitter flavour.

Funny, I always thought Brio was an Italian import, but I guess not...

Don't feel bad, I can't even find a website for the manufacturer.  Or, a picture of the can, for that matter!

Re: Coca-Cola Bl?k

Ok, going for coffee in a soft drink? Blech, no thank you.

If you want the coffee taste, drink coffee.

I never was a big fan of the taste of coffee, always put loads of hot chocolate and milk in it to make it desirable. Pure coffee always reminds me  too much of drinking cardboard.

Still are the best...  only now they come with motors.

What's wrong kids?  Are you so out of shape that you can't push a toy wooden train?  Durned youngins and their fancy technology *shakes fist*
