iBook G4 won't recognize RAM upgrade
Okay, so I have a 12" 1.2 GHz iBook G4. It came with 256 MB of RAM on board. I ordered a 512 MB module from OWC, and even went so far as to order the one that they claim is what Apple factory installs. Installation went completely as expected, but when I started up the computer it still only recognizes the 256 MB of on-board RAM.
I'm waiting for the computer to cool down so I can check if they sent me the wrong module or something. Is there anything else I could try that could be going wrong here?

if he system doesn't see it, dunno if the Apple Hardware Test will either.
you can always stick it in and boot into it and run it.
OWC normally has excellent customer service.
if the Hardware Test wont see it either, ull it and let OWC know and get an exchange.

Reseat it and try again. If that doesn't work, send 'er back.
