ROM code on the card makes em Mac or Windows.
the physical card, it's components and wiring are the same.
hardcore Mac users wanting a card that is PC only get's the ROM code for Mac, and "Flashes" the ROM using a PC. then put it in their Mac.So in that respect, nothing has really changed?
Wrong. BTW, the flash trick only worked on a couple of cards. The cool thing about the Mactels is that they are just regular PCs. What that means is that you don't need to buy a special (expensive) "Mac" version of the card. In other words, you head over to newegg.com, pick out your favorite card, buy it, stick it in your Mac and save $$$. As long as there's a Mac driver for your model card, it should work without issue.

That's a weird coincidence. Nobody knows what you're talking about because I just changed my sig before seeing your post. I'll change it back...
All done. I'll change it again sometime when I can muster enough creativity.

I am not so sure you can make that assumption until we know what is inside. But it is a good guess and highly probable. Although the guys from ATI when interviewed by inside mac games said the cards still have Mac ROMs in them.
