Oh man, I was laughing out loud (really) at that. My wife came in to see what was so funny. She didn't think it was nearly as funny as I did. Maybe you have to know what a camel toe is before reading the article.

A camel toe is what a woman's genital area looks like when she wears pants that are too tight, exposing all the, err, folds in that area.
Try googling camel toe. You'll probably get some hits in 'images'.

I think this is a misremembering about the toxicity and hallucinogenic properties of the Cane Toad. It made the US newspapers about a decade ago when it was inadvertently introduced to the Everglades.
The camel toe thing is funny.
