Guys, I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be gone for the next 3 weeks. My wife and I are finally getting to go to Hawaii (we were planning on going there last Thanksgiving). I'm spending this week packing and finalizing the little details, and then we're off to paradise for 2 weeks. I don't intend to be on the 'net at all while we're there, but as soon as we're back home, I'll be back online and back to playing Halo (promise!).

While I'm gone, Bat said he'd be willing to supervise the forum. I'm sure nothing too big will happen gaming-wise (like a sudden tourney or something), but should anything come up, Bat knows how to reach me, and I can then try to get logged into [MA]3 to make any changes to the server that might need... changing.

Anyway, just wanted everyone to know I won't be around, but not to worry much about it. Try to get on and play while I'm gone; I want to come back to a packed server!

No smurf!? From Friday to Friday I'll be there in Hawaii as well. Not sure exactly where at the moment,, but in Maui I'll be.

Actually, that would be freaking awesome. Of course, there's no way you're gonna convince me to haul my rig out there, but I'm sure we can find a cybercaf� or something that would let us use their hardware.

Seriously, if I ever get like that, I've given her permission to break her vows. I've already had to break the news to my brother-in-law that yes, my Xbox360 will be coming with me to IA, but no, it won't be hopping on a plane and traveling to Hawaii with us, because we'll be in Hawaii, and there's so much more to do and see there than some stupid game can provide.

Poor kid, he was practically raised by video games, and now that he's in high school, he has no concept of social interaction. All he wants to do is play games, alone. I'm trying to ween him off of games, but winning my 360 and having a ton of friends in IA who want to play it with me pretty much mandates that I bring it with me when I go up there. Then, I have no way of preventing him from playing.
