I haven't really used it (I use iPhoto), but Adobe has a product called Photoshop Album that does something like this. They have a free version of it called Starter Edition.

I like ACDSee version 3.1 It also has convenient bulk conversion utility.
There are newer versions.
when surrounded and left on Afghanistan's plains,
and the women come out to cut up what remains,
just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
and go to your god like a soldier...

Picasa 2 is wonderful for a free app.
I use it on my pc and love it !
