Re: It's a Boy!

Congrats!  I have six and the amazement never goes away.  :-D

And you're right about waiting on the gender.  IMO, its the only way to go when you actually want it to be one or the other.  Disappointment months in advance of the birth is kinda sad, but after the birth you're just too blissful to care what sex the baby is.  :-D

Woohoo, that's cool!

You should force your son to watch all the Star Trek: TNG episodes, once he figures out how to use his eyes wink .

Re: It's a Boy!

Wow!  shoeman and sau... THANKS!  I feel like it's some kind of old school reunion:D

And thanks to everyone else, too.

So, needless to say, we are home now.  I now have children.  I am not too sure I am fully wrapped around this whole thing, yet.  I am elated and exhausted.  I want to be with my son as much as possible and I just want to sleep.  When I am home I want to play with my daughter but I want to be with my wife.

It really is a fine balance.  Jane and I realize that we were a family before we had children.  Having kids didn't suddenly "make" us a family.  Having kids has increased our family.  So, Mr. Bun realizes that sometimes it isn't about her.  Suzie is the most important person in our family, to me.  The balance comes now in getting Hobbes taken care of, while ensuring that Mr. Bun doesn't feel slighted and keeping Suzie's needs my number one priority.

Day four and so far... so good.

Its not so bad.  Two was a big change from one, three was a huge shift from two.  After that, you barely notice the difference.

Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

Unless you become as little children, there's no way you will believe this crap.

Congratulations man!  I haven't posted it here yet, but I am going to be having my third child in July.  We have two boys now, and this next one is going to be a girl!  smile

From this moment, your life will never be the same.  wink

Congrats to you, too!

Thanks.  smile

Re: It's a Boy!

As far as not finding out ahead of time what the sex of the baby is going to be, I can't imagine being so unprepared...  I'm glad that we have always done so, but this one is stubborn... It took four ultrasounds to get an answer.  smile

I didn't particularly care one way or the other, but my wife really wanted a girl, and now she's gone a little overboard on pink.  lol
