Re: So, whatcha taking?

Hmm for me it's going be interesting.

PHEB 602 - Intro to epidemiological methods (Graduate)
PHEB 600 - Biostatistics I (Graduate)
BICH 411 - Biochemistry II
VIBS 403 - Anatomy
VTPB 303 - International medical communications

I'm thinking I may die. HAHAH... 19 hours. But it is my second to last semester so I suppose I should have expected it!

Re: So, whatcha taking?

Physics 205: Intro to Nuclear/Particle Physics
Physics 230: Math methods in Physics
Compsci 150: Intro to Numerical Analysis
Philosophy 104: Foundations of Scientific Reasoning

I am already done with my major and minor so these courses are very much for fun.

I will hopefully underload last semester, taking only half the number of credits and working really hard in my honors thesis.

I have no clue what I'm taking next year.  I've got to go through transfer orientation at my new school to schedule things out.

Really? I find finals to be.

Registration for me was really easy, the only problem I had was the physics section I wanted to take was earmarked for engineers.

For Spring Quarter:

Required humanities
Physics: E&M + lab
Math: ODEs (PDEs in the fall...what fun...)

Maybe something else, but that's 15 units.

Nah... taking tests and studying are nothing compared to waking up at 5:30 a.m. and scrambling to type in number/letter codes as fast as you can so you can get into the classes you want. I have had early, honors student registration for the past three semesters and invariably I always am too late for at least one of the classes I want/need. And getting forced into a class is the longest, most arduous process ever (probably to discourage students from doing it).

This year for registration I will be at a TIPA (texas intercollegiate press association) conference in San Antonio when I am supposed to be registering... It's going to be interesting.

Yes, and it still sucks...

It will say a class has two seats left, and so you try to sign up for it, and they will be full.

It's not a very good online system.

Me...
Design 800 and two weird independent study design programs with large course numbers... all grad work.

All in all it equates to a 60+ hour school week. Every school week feels like undergrad midterms. I'm in the grad program from hell.

Kids, DON'T go to grad school unless you reeeally want to.... or are doing an MBA. MBAs are smurfing easy.

Re: So, whatcha taking?

This summer I'm taking HIST 221: US History to 1877

In the fall I'll be taking:
COMM 101: Basic Speech Communication
ENGL 110: College Writing
MATH 072R: Elementary Algebra - Resourse Module

Yeah, I know it's not much and my math level sucks, but you have to start somewhere right?
