I'm moving, too
I was going to wait til i had keys in hand, but what the hell.
I signed papers today on a 1bdr condo in my same city. It was time for me to move on.
I'm told i should have the keys at the earliest on Friday. Otherwise, it will be the beginning of next week. I'm not in that big of a rush, though. The earliest i can get help to move is on the 15th unless i can find someone that can move during the week.
Anyway, i guess i'm now a homeowner.

technically, if you are alive... you are moving
but congrats on the purchase.
being you can't get in for a few, now would be a good time to see about the phone/cable/isp etc.
gotta get the important stuff first.

Scary, isn't it? Guess what forum he mods now too.

Yay! Congrats to you, too!

Well, i'm not in there yet, and there really isn't a whole lot to see. It's a 1bdr condo (580 sf) with all new Kenmore appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, range). Ceramic tile in the kitchen. Granite slab counters in the kitchen. Marble in the bathroom. New carpets and paint. New fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom. The microwave even has a wire rack in it. That's just weird!

ok, i'll hop on the bandwagon... prematurely.
my fiance and i will be moving together to my old hometown in montgomery, al after we get married. probably. it all depends on her pending promotion to manager of a new branch of the comapny she works for.
so that's exciting.

Meh, okay then, I'll just imagine you living in a mud hut then.
It sounds nice though. New appliances and tile and all that.
Maybe the microwave is a microwave/convection oven combo?

Umm, Adobe is mud. They can be quite nice. Ok, it's still mud.
I'll bet you still wrap the fur of animals, or the products of plants around yourself for warmth, and use the skins of animals to protect your feet.

The guy that did the walk thru said the rack is treated (burned in) with something to allow it to be used as a rack in the microwave, but i'm not doing anything til i read the paperwork on it.
