Free FTP Client for PCs?

Do any of you like any free FTP programs for PCs?

FileZilla is good, and you can find it on SourceForge.

WinSCP,  I don't do FTP, haven't in years now.  Passwords in the open isn't a good thing up

Same here. I use SFTP instead, and WinSCP is my favorite Windows client for that.

SmartFTP has a free, ad-supported version. Me likey. Or I used to, back when I had to FTP on a PC regularly.

I use FileZilla on the University machines to connect to my Mac, where I turned on the SFTP server. Works like a charm.

Thanks for the replies. We downloaded SmartFTP before I started this thread on the basis of our ISP's suggestion, but having alternative views is always useful.
