Bunny Frag Night

Ok, so I am sick of bitching about how the server and clan is dead so this young'en wants to make a change. As you all may already know Saturday night is "Easter Eve" (fun sounding name) and I imagine most of our mates should be around. How about we all, ALL get on the server that night for a reunion, celebration, and/or bloody mockery of lost skills. Idle time reeks havoc on the 1337 PWNZORS1!!ONE!

Anyhow. Saturday night we should all try to set aside at least 30 minutes to play. I don't expect everyone to play for the entire night. How about we meet up around 7:30 Central? Standard games and no mods. Maybe a 'lil DD later on.

Can we pull this off? Please?

Re: Bunny Frag Night

Who can resist fragging bunnies? http://homepage.mac.com/oatmeal/MAF/maxes/bunny.gif I'll find some time and clear some work space for the old machine.

I do have some other committments so it won't be all night, but I should be on sometime in the evening.

Re: Bunny Frag Night

I'll try to be on.  My sisters are coming down for easter, and I was planning a bonfire, but I am not sure if the weather will permit.  It was hella windy and stormy here last night, so the ground is a little saturated right now.  I'll write myself a note so I don't forget!

I'd be game, and if the server doesn't work out I could always host up a 16 person one on my line.

Re: Bunny Frag Night

No server, ok i'll set one up right now on mine. Just hope I don't have a bluescreen big_smile. IP I think is 68.183.46.102.

It will have the [MA] name in the title if you can't find it via IP. Password is NCmania. If we don't get enough I can just open it up for 16 person public.

Bungie Weekly Update

by Frankie at 4/14/2006 5:05 PM PDT
This week's update is concerned primarily with updating the matchmaking playlists. Harold and Joe are headed to New Zealand and there's really not much going on this week - at least much that I can talk about that is.
...
Joe heard some news about the movie this week, but he's contractually obligated to not discuss it. What a tease. He and studio manager Harold Ryan are heading down to New Zealand in a week or two though, so hopefully they'll return with some news we can use. Or better yet, a full-sized, drivable Warthog for me to cruise around in.

big_smile

This week sometime for the new machine, maybe Sunday for little impromptu egg hunt?

the source is here. The quote's near the bottom, but the article's well worth the read.

Re: Bunny Frag Night

Sorry the server went down, guys.  Bat emailed me about it, and I just got the email tonight (I've spent the weekend hosting Easter stuff here at our apartment; th ein-laws visited us, and it was quite pleasant).  I logged into MA3, and it looks like it had pulled down an automatic update from MS, and then automatically rebooted.  The servers aren't being run as services, so someone had to log in to get them to start up.

We're back in business now, though.

Well, the phrase might be annoying, but it applies in this case.  According to the weather radio, we had upwards of 80mph gusts and I believe it.  The barn at the end of the road was not only blown down, but shredded and scattered all over the yard.  One piece was about 1/4 the barn and that was laying about 100' from the foundation.  The barn was also scattered in two different directions, and the antennas around here are broken off in different directions as well.  My house was shaking enough that my bed was moving about 1" in either direction and stuff was falling off of shelves.  We lost one of our big barn doors when the wind tore it off the track and threw it across the yard.  To me that becomes "hella" windy.

actually, I'm not so sure about that anymore.  I was on live about a week ago and it seemed we only have 4 members left, 3 of us are the overlords.  I'll start jumping on more, so I guess I'll try to start leading up more MA H2 stuff.

It's true, NC has a girl. Sadly everytime he wants to talk to her he has to punch in his credit  card number.
