AIM Library
So AOL released an Instant Messenger SDK, but it's only for Windows. Anyone know if someone has put together some sort of library for Mac? Or is there a way to run through iChat? Basically, I'm fed up with every Mac client so I figure I'll code me up a new one.

What are your specific beefs with Adium (seriously asking)? If it's file transfer, I understand completely. 1.0 will be coming out in a few months and will use Joscar instead of libgaim; file transfers and direct connect work perfectly in the SVN builds from what I've heard. Also, take the time to customize Adium in the prefs and with www.adiumxtras.com if you haven't already. The defaults with pre-1.0 are admittedly less than stellar, but 1.0 will supposedly fix this. I've been keeping up with what's in the works for future Adium versions, and the roadmap is looking very, very nice.
