You're such a clown.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

Re: Cripes...
Actually, I have no idea why you have decided I'm not calm; this is a figment of your imagination.
No one has to post in any topic, no one is BARRED from posting in any topic (unless they're banned). So stuff that particular tactic back in it's box. You don't get to dictate who does or doesn't post in any thread here.
You most certainly DID say that YOU should do something about it, you made a whole thread complaining about it. Or does that not apply to you for some reason?
Yes, indeed you said that the press should be more creative in it's use of catch phrases. We all get it, that was the topic of the first post. Then somehow (and this seems to be the part you don't get) you tried to put the blame for that on the press being biased and, being biased being some sort of "liberal" trait.
So, once more I need to ask:
What has the press being "liberal" (your own derailment) got to do with using "__gate" (your actual thread topic)?
Will you actually answer that? Or is asking you to do so a personal attack?
And I'll remind you once more: you don't get to decide who posts in a thread.

What was it you said... your topic is void of any content... hmm... guess we can use that one for this topic too...
Or is it too hard to ask me to provide links? Yeah that must be it... especially since you and KF are both people not use to asking...
This can go on for pages if you don't ask...

Because your posts are erratic.

True, but then again, you always seem to state that my posts are stupid, and not worth your time, yet you post in them, dare I ask why?
KingFred wrote:

Another topic...not this topic, keep them in order please. And I already said in this topic I have done something about it, guess you missed that part.

No, I said the press is liberal, and I said that studies have shown it, and if you need any direct proof just pick up the newspaper. I'll go one step further and say just read the political section and see how many posts are negative against the republicans. If you want I link I can provide... as I said before all you need to do is ask. Or are you too much of a Mod or a man to actually have to ask a question, and the only way you do is by demanding?

Nothing beyond that there are two separate topics in this thread... and I am conversing in both at the same time, it's called multitasking.

No, but you should also make a decision of posting in my threads to, you either do or don't... don't be amazed from this point forward unless I deem it necessary that you and tallgeese are ignored.

And here is another Masochist... boy they are coming in droves... mayhap I should get my paddle out and start spanking you boys since it seems you can't stay away from painful conversations or topics.
Either that or you can do two things...
1. Stop posting to my topics, and ignore them, and making them personal attacks on me.
2. Actually ask questions that haven't been answered, or bring up why I should answer a question that I already have...
So far neither of you have done so, and neither of you are worth responding to any more since all either of you do is Troll in my topics.
1) A "drove" is not two.
2) You did not, in fact, answer Onthebeach's request for a link to your source that it's been "proven" the media is liberal.
3) You still haven't explained how the use of "__gate" is due to the press being "liberal".
4) Stop the personal attacks. And the threats of physical harm... you're pushing it.
5) Again: You don't get to dictate who does or doesn't post in threads.
6) I didn't ask you for a link, I don't care if you have a link. However, someone else did. You told him to pick up a paper. That is not a link to your "proof".

My local papers are Japanese....I'm not sure they'd be much help.
Do some googling then for American papers.
"otherwise I'll provide links if I have to" mean something different over there?

No, it is just that papers in Japanese may not converse the same liberal biased as American newspapers... all you need to do is Google for a few American ones and you got proof...
And for any other information if you really want a decent link..

Well, "of" seems to mean "have" in cyberpawzland, so maybe "I'll provide links" means "do some Googling"? It does seem to fit a pattern.

Wonderful. Still irrelevant to your assertion that this has anything to do with the use of "__gate".
Care to make the connection, now?

Again, you are missing the point of multi-tasking...
As someone graceously pointed out Tiny Link
Look at all the "gates" how many are there, what are they used for? Why does it every time that a politician do something wrong it gets a gate suffix on the end of it? It has cheapened the word, it make me roll my eyes and just ignore the context of the article...
The newspapers have cheapened the suffix of gate as they have Hero... time to get some new suffix or word to mutilate.

You googled a bit and picked the first one that backed your claim? In other words a site that supports your bias? A quick glance at the sites returned by Google seemed to be about half and half. Hardly proof - and hardly independent I'm sure.
Google didn't seem to return anything on the liberal bias-"gate" link though.

Ummm...the UCLA isn't exactly a university you can say that they don't do research well at... if you read it at all you'd see they used 10 years worth of documentation, I'd say that says a lot about their research ability...
I provided a link that not only proves my point, but is also from a university that is recognized internationally as a good research facility...
I'm sorry but I provided my link, I can't change the facts for you...

Dallas Morning News is does not have a liberal bias.
On the other hand, liberal policies err on the side of individual rights and freedoms, until they go around the curve to meet the authoritatians. Conservative policies seem to err on the side of institutions at the expence of individual rights and freedom, until they go around the curve to meet the authoritarians. But it isn't that far a drive for the conservatives right now.
So which bias would you rather have in the media? One that is biased in your indiviual favor, or one that is biased towards institutions and government?

I disagree. I think its a credit to America that its withstood all the things thrown at it, and that President Bush allowed to be thrown at it.

They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.
