makes me want a hybrid with some phat chrome shoes on it.
a sled that would be a veritable chick magnet.

the downside is the thumpity thumpity 10Kw amps  pushing all those woofers rattling the little thing would drain the battery with each thump.

Of course, nobody bought a Bronco or a Suburban before Hollywood made them popular.

I give a flip because Hollywood talks the greenpeace talk, save the rainforests, etc. - and then drives SUVs and gas guzzling performance cars - because they want the image, an image that the rest of the country emulates as best as they can afford.

First of all...can you draw a direct connection between someone who offers "greenpeace talk" and then drives an SUV?

Secondly...you are giving these people WAY too much credit.  Are you seriously suggesting that midwest soccer mom drives an SUV simply because Britney Spears does?



Come to Texas...every-other car is a huge pickup truck.  Who's to blame there?  The country music industry?

Some actors/actresses have purchased Hybrids already.  They all say they "love them."

Cameron Diaz and Wyatt Erp at least.

Like I said before: I don't track the driving habits of Hollywood stars, mostly because these are insignificant. Why do you?

Oh, look: some of them do drive Priuses to the screenings. There are people who are using Priuses in their "green" campaigns. Here is another article commenting on how fashionable Priuses have become in Hollywood:

edit:  And it would be nice if you could point to examples of these liberal hypocrites.  That is, a big name (or at least not b-list) celebrity who drives an SUV while also saying that SUVs are bad and everyone should drive hybrids.
