Well, no, but I've never seen you drinking a Grain Belt or a Hamm's either.

Mmmmm....I used to drink a lot of Hamm's back in college (I can't quite remember why, however). My buddy had flattened Hamm's boxes decorating the walls of his apartment. Very classy.

Grain Belt has actually become brew of choice up here...

Kinda busy with two bands right now, but neither one is making me much money. I don't suppose there's any musicians in your neighborhood, is there?

If I was standing next to you, I would be slapping the smurf out of you. I LIVE IN UPTOWN - OF COURSE THERE ARE MUSICIANS. there are also a few places *just past* downtown I think you would get a kick out of.

Knowing that I'd just asked an extremely stupid question, I decided to Google the answer for myself. Looks like there's at least a couple thousand bands there. Have you been to see "Mr. Winky?" That's an interesting name for a band.

They're playing at an American Legion Friday night too but I gotta go rehearse that night. Then the next three weekends I have to play in public one night or the other. Maybe June 30 if I actually make enough gas money from 3 gigs to get there.

Re: THIS JUST IN: Sexual desire is genetic!
So is sexual desire genetic? Does that mean you might have genes that preclude you from having sexual desires?
Or does it mean that because it is genetic, you will have sexual desires.
Does that mean sexual desires as described as moral?
Does it mean kinky desires?

Well, yeah! I always thought that was kind of obvious, but I guess I'd never really seen it explicitly stated anywhere. Every lifeform we've ever discovered is doing it on a regular basis in one way or another. How could it not be genetic?
sturner wrote:

Sure, it's possible, and I've read about people who have no sexual desire at all.
sturner wrote:

Yeah, it means you'll have sexual desires to some degree, and said degree could theoretically be zero.
sturner wrote:

There's nothing inherently immoral about having any kind of sex (as long as it's consensual and otherwise does no harm to anybody).
sturner wrote:

Sure, I'm just guessing, but who the hell would willingly have a foot fetish unless it was genetic?
As I understand it (this might not be exactly accurate because I mostly slept through Biology) a molecule of DNA functions a lot like a computer but not a binary computer like the one in front of you. Instead, each "switch" has 16 possible positions instead of just "on" or "off" (1 or 0), so genetic information is really a lot more complex than most people probably imagine.

Funny, I have dated a few of those frigid bitches. I didn't realize books had been written about them!

i mean, sometimes my sexual desire is through the roof and sometimes i'd rather just watch some tv. it's just those wacky sexual chemicals running around altering that.
