If Apple has a clue, they will yank this ad
Macs are PC's too and this one also. Macs do "fun stuff"
The Out of box ad is pretty good.
You can see the ads on Apple's website, unless you really like YouTube. Miles

Further proof that Apple cares about hardware instead of software sales.
Out of box would make more sense if Microsoft Office Trial wasn't so difficult to uninstall.

I'm still trying to figure out if you're a girl posing as Macboy4139, or a boy posing as a girl, and a bit confused sexually. <shrug> laughinol

It's optional in the first place.

That's one major point.
The "touche" doesn't grab me. And running Windows on a Mac, from what I've read, isn't as easy as the Apple ad implies.

I think because to Mac users the ads seem funny but to windows users they seem arrogant and offensive. And mac users are already probably going to buy macs.

It isn't targeting "PC users" in the sense that we usually think of them. They are targeted to the usual computer user, who only uses Windows because that's what everybody else told them to use.

Finally! I've been trying to get ^that^ into words for the longest time, and that says it perfectly.

Re: If Apple has a clue, they will yank this ad
Was just catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in several years. Somehow we got on the topic of computers briefly, and I mentioned how I'd worked on Macs a lot during college and have really grown to like them.
I was telling her about Bootcamp and how you could now run OSX and XP. She had no idea that was possible previously, and was very interested. I think the new ad will really help to clue people similar to her into the situation and really turn some heads. I don't think she'd ever really considered a Mac before, but I got the feeling she might look into one the next time she needs to make a purchase.
I like the new crop of ads.
Why isn't anything raisin-flavored?
