Your shoes.
I have a thoery that a persons shoes are one aspect that tell the most about a person.
So, please tell us what shoes you normaly wear out. Post pix please.
I'll start, I normay wear Vans. I used to always but Airwalks, but they became popular and so, more expensive. I wish they stuck to the old style.
Any way here they are.

I wear Skechers steel-toed shoes (black or brown) for work and formal outings, and Converse All-Star hi-tops (various colours) for everything else.

Re: Your shoes.
My shoes:
- Brown Doc Martens
- Black Keen Sandals
- Cannondale cycling shoes
- Sorel steel-toes ESD-safe work shoes
- a pair of old Merrel sandals
- Sorel winter boots
- one pair of heavily used (but very broken in) steel toed ESD-safe work shoes
- two pairs of battered & beaten Brooks cross trainers - so broken in, it feels like you're not even wearing them
- two pairs of black dress shoes
What does that say about me, other than "You have a lot of shoes"?

I have a pair of Georgia work boots and some Simple brand sneakers. I also recently picked up two pairs of ballet slipper style RocketDogs- one pair for every day wear in the summer, and one pair for my wedding.

I ususally wear various skateboard style shoes (Etnies, Emerica, Circa and so on).
Usually have a couple of white pairs and a couple dark pairs.
I stopped skateboarding a long time ago but can't give up the shoes becuase they're so damn padded and comfy.

black wingtips, brown rockports, New Balance, pair of Lands End water sandals.
Years ago it was combat boots, New Balance, and Frye boots. Oh and the occasional oxford in black, smooth toes.

Re: Your shoes.
I have really wide feet, and I discovered only about 5 years ago that New Balance is the only make of shoe that fits me correctly. (Prior to that discovery, I had chronically sore feet).
So, I have a few pairs of various New Balance sneakers in various states of wear (the older of which I use for yard work), and a pair of Dunham (New Balance's "fancy" brand) deck shoes for work. I also have a pair of drug-store slip-on rubber sandals for quick trips outside (taking out the trash, etc.)

Re: Your shoes.
I've been wearing Reebok walking shoes for years, my older pair at work and a newer pair for other occasions. I'd rotate them when the work pair finally gave out and get a new set. However, they may have stopped making them, so I'm on the lookout for something new. I've been wearing a pair of black Rockport bartender shoes to my newspaper photo shoots. They're really lightweight and comfortable, so I might see if I can find a white pair (I probably can - I think that's what the nurses like to wear).
At home, I have a pair of black Chinese slippers (mao shoes - $3!).

Re: Your shoes.
I just got a pair of Crocs flip flops. Like walking on air.
Otherwise, I have a well worn pair of Birkenstocks bought directly from Germany (it was cheaper that way AND they were wrapped in a German newspaper!) and 2 pairs of Saucony sneakers. I definitely go for comfort over cute. I do own a few pairs of obligatory girly shoes but the last time I wore a pair was 2 months ago and the blisters have yet to heal.
