Re: Your shoes.
I wear my Doc Martins to work as much as possible. They are awesome. This style has lasted me 10 years and so comfy! The only difference is mine don't say Doc Martin on the sides
I usually always wear Tevas sandals when not at work in the summer or Vans otherwise.

But I think all it says about me is that I buy shoes from the sale rack at Nordstrom.

Re: Your shoes.
I bought an Adidas brand one time. I considered changing my Airwalk brand to Adidas since Airwalks were becoming more expensive and they were changing their look a bit. I am very loyal to my shoe brand and it was a big step for me. I bought a pair of Adidas like the ones Aqua Mans got, and they fell apart almost right away. A large deep crack appeared on the bottoms of them only 3 weeks after purchase. Then a week later the rubber toes stitching/glue came away from the fabric. I emailed, sent them in and everything. I was sent them back by Adidas explaining how they wont replace them, because their shoes are high quality and I must have done something suspicious to the shoes. I paid allot for the shoes when it costs them about $14 to make them. WTF! Ill never buy Adidas again.

Re: Your shoes.
Nothing but New Balance for everyday and for running. They're just the most comfortable shoes I can find. Outlet nearby gives good prices too.
I actually think I'll start buying workout clothes and jackets from them too, though they are more expensive.

Re: Your shoes.
The shoes I wear for the longest period of time, day in and day out, are either a pair of black cap toe shoes (leather soles) or a pair of black wing tip shoes (also leather soles).
Around the house I wear no shoes at all, or a pair of Tevas that I've had since the late 80s (what's left of them, anyway).
I also have a pair of New Balance all terrain running shoes that I wear when I'm doing something remotely sportslike.
When I'm on stage I wear a pair of Doc Martens Brogue shoes. I love these shoes. I would like to find a pair of them in all black that I could wear to work, but I've not yet found any around here. I could mail order them, I know, but I'd rather actually put a shoe on my foot before shelling out cash for it, you know?

I've had my Adidas for, oh, 2 years now. Still holding together quite nicely.

Re: Your shoes.
Let's see....
If I am in a situation where I need to protect my feet, I have a pair of Timerline Pro Steel Toe Boots purchased from work.
If I am just going to work, I have a Pair of black Rockports purchased from Macy's.
If I am just playing outside, I have a pair of White Avia's purchased from Costco.
And for any other reason and if the weather is just right, I have a pair of flip flops. I think they were bought at Old Navy.

Re: Your shoes.
I'd love to have some "cool" shoes, but I just don't get what you're supposed to do with the laces. I once owned a pair of Vans, which were pretty swanky until I tied them up. I just found having the laces inside the shoe or under the tongue was really uncomfortable.
I tend to go for slip-on shoes now. I do need some new shoes though, so if anyone can tell me what I should be doing with the laces, that'd me much appreciated!

Well, at least part of your body won't fall victim to carcinoma!
I had similar tan lines when I spent the entire summer SCUBA diving. Never has there been a better deck shoe than the Teva.
